A crown for the Queen

Let’s imagine going from George W. Bush to Lorraine C. deSouza or even better picture me queen. Yes, I know it seems to be a far reach in reality, but if I ruled the world these would be my positions and more. If I ruled the world rules, life, actions, and motions would be altered. Yet there would be certain situations and things that would not be able to be changed. Nothing against animals- they would stay but the first things that would go would be birds. Yes, I know it sounds cruel, mean, and unkind but we do not really need them, what purpose are they serving us? Some people are so disorganized they do not know if they are coming of going. People need what is called “A sense of planning”. You would see the whole world become organized. It would be amazing how much time people would have to and for themselves. Things would actually get done and there would be no complaining. Now people would not work constantly because planned into their lives would be a time for relaxation. People would feel they deserved the break and they would welcome it.

While ruling my wonder world, I am a strong believer of computers. If I ruled the world every household would own a computer. The computer would be a necessity. As well it should be. With technology changing at the rate it is, it is important that people stay up with the change. Now people would not have to worry about the computer because the computer would do everything. Cooking, cleaning, answer your phone, etc. You would just have to exist in the house. As much as I love the phone and I am sure there are many that do, I feel telephone should and would be no longer. The newest and most current method would be used. Everyone would talk by videophone. What more could you want? Everyone is always asking on the phone “so what are you doing?”. You would no longer have to ask that question because you and the person are seeing each other.

Now being a junior or a senior everyone has heard of that dreaded test that judges our reasoning skill. Yes, the SATs. If I ruled the world SATs would be done away with. They do not prove anything anyway. They are supposed to separate the bright ones in the bunch, but in reality they only prove who can take a test or who can guess best. So there would definitely be another method for colleges to use in the selection process. As far as college goes, it would be a lot cheaper. Colleges are outrageously priced today. How can any one person afford it? They cannot on their own, unless they are rolling in money. Even with loans and other money deals you will ultimately end up paying it back for the rest of your life, especially if you go to a top college.

I think knowledge is important and everyone should have some form of knowledge. So if I ruled the world everyone would have to know two languages. This is one form of knowledge. It just so happens that everyone would possess it. It is essential if we are going to survive in this world that we know more than one. Also other countries would know English. It would make it easier for people to travel, you could pick up your favorite book and read it in another language. Just think of the possibilities! As for transportation, there would be no cars. They are just breaking down our ozone layer currently anyway. So I’d do away with them! But there would always be trains that would connect places together and subways would still be used. Why not just transport yourself to another city, state, or country. Sure, that would work if I ruled the world. Instead of highways there would be railways that would lead all over the country. And people worry about taking the subway. There would be no worry because there would be no danger. It would become a safe world.

Problems would be dealt in a harsher manner than what they are currently dealt with. People would not condone bad behavior. They would know only good and promote only good. People would want to help others and people would want to help the world. If I ruled the world there would no longer be hunger or famine. Everyone would have plenty to eat. If there was not enough more would be grown and supplied to other countries. And all this fighting would stop. Everyone would get along with each other. Countries would willingly help each other. They would then realize that by helping each other EVERYTHING run much smoother! Yet, I still believe no matter how every country might get along it is a must that every country have their own part of the world. Now you cannot meant o tell me that this cannot be possible. Look at our world there is more than enough space for every country.

Knowing now what I do and using it if I ruled the world, I would definitely have people realize that as bad as something might be, in reality it is not that bad at all. People would learn to put things in to perspective. People would be appreciative of the education they have, present they get, and people that surround them. They would realize that no matter what, they have good lives, they are lucky to be healthy, and have nice material objects. People would know all this and they would know more because the rules, morals, and ideals would be different. But we know that all this is a stretch of the imagination except if I ruled the world.
