How to Order a Steak

Step 1: Specify if you want your steak with (wit) or without (wit-out) onions (if you're not a rookie, this should come naturally).
Step 2: Specify Plain, Cheese Whiz, Provolone, American cheese or a Pizza Steak (they have lettuce and tomatoes, but if they have to read your mind it's 50 cents extra).
Step 3: Have your money ready (do all of your borrowing in line).
Step 4: Practice all of the above while waiting in line (if you make a mistake, don't panic, just go to the back of the line and start over).

The best advice is to remember a few key terms because you will not have much time to order. For example, if you want a sandwich with fried onions and Provolone cheese (instead of the Cheese Whiz, which is the default cheese), simply say "wit" followed by "Provolone." And for all you vegetarians out there, have no fear, because Pat's also dishes up a well-renowned "non-meat" sandwich called the 'Veggie Special.’
